Finally
Centrelink called me this morning to say that having reviewed the extra information from Matt, and the statement written by Small Man (aka me)...
He has been approved for the Disability Pension
The woman must think I'm mad - I cried when she rang to say his last claim was rejected - and I cried when she rang to say he had been approved this time
I think I said 'Thank you' about 20 times....
Well it is somewhat emotional - pretty much the whole thing has been from day one
As with the visit to the surgeon in which he was stunned for about an hour afterwards, today's reaction was very much the same
"Mum, you're getting tears on me..."
Finally it sinks in......I see hope in his eyes
That made it all worth it, and I'd go through it all again
Least I could do really
