Pack and post and fight with vacum cleaner!

That about sums up my day so far!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thought I'd throw in a quick post between unblocking vacum hoses and packing eBay parcels!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My heart went out to the poor lady on the news last night that had a miscarriage in the hospital toilet.

It is an experience I can relate to.

I miscarried between my boys, actually was pregnant again almost immediately after,
the baby I lost would have been due tomorrow, 13 years ago - I remember because it's my brothers birthday tomorrow, and I was due on his birthday.

These things happen for a reason, I know that, and I wouldn't have my darling Small Man - but it doesn't help when you are treated badly during an already distressing time in your life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Must make tracks - these parcels won't post themselves - oooowwwhhh! Why Not!!!!!!
he he!
Grandma to the rescue.....
...and then some!
Grandma sent me a money order - I received it this morning - how does she just KNOW when we need her help........it will certainly take the pressure off for a little while.
Thank you Grandma!! (I'm not allowed to ring and say thank you, she decided a few years ago that was the deal...).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Feeling better this morning.....
Last night a bit of a blur.......
Even I get bored with it - can't imagine how everyone else in my life feels....
Just have to learn to take each day as it comes, and that ignoring it won't make it go away.......OWWWHHHH! Why not!!!!!!????........

Still haven't vacuumed - OMG!!!!! The horror!!! I did dust in preparation for it.....well the lounge/dining/kitchen/family rooms at least.................

Just waiting for Small Man to get up - he doesn't usually sleep this late.......may be good though, as far as school today goes......

p.s. When we went to Burnie for the day, we drove up to my Great Grandma's old house, she lived behind the pulp mill, and died when she was 98!
I commented on how she'd lived behind the mill for at least 50 years, and that safety and emission standards wouldn't have been as strict in the old days etc....
Z16 pipes up and says - 'Just imagine how long she would have lived if she HADN'T lived behind the pulp mill'.........
Smarty pants!

Wishing Well....and down she goes....

Stupid stomach....

stupid being tired and dragging myself to do very simple things....

stupid having to sleep this afternoon....freezing.....then hot.......

stupid going to bed AGAIN at 7pm........waking up now.........when everyone else is in bed....except Georgie who ALMOST hopped up for a cuddle.....then realised there was much more room on the other couch.....

stupid sore eyes that cause Big A to ask "what's wrong with you...what's wrong with your eyes" - 'NOTHING' - of course is the answer I give - cos I don't know and I'm over it.........

stupid unpredictable 'coming out of nowhere all of a sudden' this afternoon.....too bad if I had to be somewhere, or do something......

stupid doctors for treating me so badly in the past that I'm reluctant to go back............

Stupid I tell ya!

Going to bed again now, just for something different.
Tomorrow can only be better, I'm sure of it.........

Made some honeygar and started it this afternoon,
could be perfect timing for it.............

Recieved This In An Email Last Night!!!

Had to post this one - it describes a typical day for me......he he he!

Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.

Somehow I now feel better, even though I have it!!

Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D. - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden.

As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.

As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.

I lay my car keys on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full.

So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first.

But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first.

I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left.

My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over.

The Coke is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need water.

I put the Coke on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning.

I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table.

I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.

I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.

So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill.

Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:

the car isn't washed

the bills aren't paid

there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter

the flowers don't have enough water,

there is still only 1 check in my check book,

I can't find the remote,

I can't find my glasses,

and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.

Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all damn day, and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail....

Do me a favor. Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember who the hell I've sent it to.

I may have already sent it to you and

I hate repeating myself repeating myself

repeating myself

Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!

Suits and fancy cars...!

OOOHHH....!!! The leavers dinner date has been announced - things to do - things to do!!! Z16 thinks I'm getting in a bit early - no such thing as early with so much to organise!!!
Imagine if I had girls!!!
We will go 'suit trying on' this week so that we have it all booked, the photo above is what he has in mind for the style - he actually had an opinion which was nice - he usually doesn't! He likes pinstripe......
Then we have to decide what to with with the hair.......oh the decisions!!!!
Imagine if I had girls!!!
Then there'll be the transport - of course everyone wants to go 'different' I'm thinking a sporty, swanky looking convertible or a classic restored vintage rolls or something would be nice......we have considered going way out with a helicopter etc - not like I have a few helicopters at my disposal though!

As you may be able to tell I have been looking forward to this - I dunno, I just like everything to be 'right' and feel that I have helped make it all special for him, it's not every day you finish high school after all!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All a bit worn out today - Z16 and I are definitely night creatures, we should have been possums or something!
He was struggling a bit this morning...........
Not sure if Small Man will go to school this afternoon or not.
Gee it's hard.
Sick of arguing about this with Big A.
OVER IT!!!!
It's gone on for so long now,
leave it to me I say - I do all of the doctors appointments and spend nearly every minute of every day with him,
I'm his mother - I know him like the back of my hand.....
if I don't think he's up to going to school - then he's bloody not!!!!!!
we have an agreement, that he'll always tell me the truth about how he's feeling, and he does.
Gotta go - just had an sms to say stock delivery is delayed today - that'll piss a few people off!!! Must go and soothe the mood......
Normality??...
Things are slightly more 'normal' this morning - school holidays over - no more sleep in's!
Z16 worked until 11pm last night - I wasn't thrilled when they rang to ask if he could work back - but I assumed it may have been a 'test' of his availability - I wouldn't like it to happen too often on weeknights....he was fine this morning, may be a little grumpy after school.
Wanted to try Small Man at going to school in the morning, instead of the afternoon, just to see how he felt. Didn't happen this morning, he was up but not feeling awake enough just yet, and of course PE was straight after recess, so couldn't go at recess either. Still a while until we go back to the paediatrician, 5th October, I hope he has some ideas/answers and can explain the enlarged liver thing to me properly.
Haven't felt the best myself for the last few weeks, running hot and cold, stupid stomach. I did say I'd go to the doctor........see how it goes..............stress can account for some but not all of it.............
I have questioned myself also as to why I blog.
And have decided it is mostly for myself, an online diary to vent and ponder - if I had to write all of this out by hand I wouldn't do it!
None of my friends or family know I write here....my boys do but that's o.k.
I leave comments for others sometimes, and think of leaving comments for others often - I'm not the type to barge into other peoples space, so hold back quite a lot.
Must go and check all of my stuff (sales/auctions/emails).....and maybe even vacuum slightly eerky floor with extremely useless vac!!!
Flying Past...
Just flying past....to say g'day.......not much to say this morning.....unusual for me - hmmm - my posts are long sometimes...........
The haircut went o.k. - it looks 'tidier' but I liked him looking like a rock star!!! Not your typical mum I guess.......he's had several inches taken off the back of his hair - he didn't have to wear a hair net at work last night so was happy about that.
He worked 5pm - 8.30pm and handled it much better this time, also one of his mates was working in the same place/same time which would have made him feel more at ease. He was actually quite pumped after work last night....mind you he's still asleep now!
Didn't get books out yesterday, so will have to do them this afternoon......time got away yesterday. small man had a friend over to visit, I was out with Z16 getting hair cut, going to the bank (I know you actually have to GO IN there sometimes, like to hand in the thingy to say you've received your new card/pin number), getting work clothes folded and ready.......
My team reported sales of $9100 last week for the week,
that's not bad at all,
my highest week EVER was $12,000,
if they did $9000 every week I'd be stoked,
Xmas sales are an absolute boom,
sales already this week are looking good,
the books I drop are just a little contribution to overall sales,
but it all adds up,
I don't have to do it by any means,
but I want to - to stay in touch with what's happening 'in the field',
to use the website for ordering and identify any glitches,
I like to think of it as leading from the front,
Gee - I did have something to say after all!!!
Curly Stuff.......
Gee - there's been some stuff happening in blog-world......
I haven't left any comments on this - mostly because it's none of my beeswax, and I didn't read any of the posts in question.
I will say though it can be hard to get the expression or emotion you would usually have in your voice, across in a message/email - and is left for the reader to interpret - and if the reader isn't in a good frame of mind, they will often interpret it how they want it to be, not necessarily as it was intended......
I hope all bridges involved are mended soon..........xxx
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

According to my dodgy scales - I may (or may not) have lost 2.5kg this week......
My skin still looks like bucket-o-crap......
and I think I may have uncovered a misdemeanor in my belly - well sort of a golf ball sized lump near my hip - I found it when I was checking to see if the muffin tops/love handles had shrunk!!!! maybe a hernia or something like that - spose I'll have to go and get that checked.........two guesses at what the doc will say "Irritable bowel syndrome" or "stress" - that's about the standard answer I get from them.......
They told me I had IBS once before when they couldn't find the cause of pain in my side - I told them straight out they were wrong - turns out I had ovarian cysts that had ruptured......hence my reluctance to go back to the doctor for anything other than prescription repeats!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Small Man and I watched 'The pursuit of Happyness' last night - I enjoyed it..........
Today I have finished some mapping work that was waiting for me........
Sent a 'dummy' email for one of my SD's - he's having trouble with someone not pulling their weight - or working at all actually and needed me to send a 'warning' letter....this usually works....
Taking Z16 for a haircut...... :-( .........those gorgeous curls...........
Dropping some catalogues.......
Taking Z16 to work...............
Enjoying the last official day of the holidays........
And when she got there the cupboard was bare....
Roll on pay day!!!!
Dear oh dear......hasn't been this bad for a while - we are both on monthly pay - I get paid a commission on my teams sales - while Big A is doing this apprenticeship, if I get a low month we're stuffed - we had a low one two months ago and I think it's put us behind.
He is due to complete his apprenticeship in March next year.
Mum reckons we've done a much better job handling the finances than she thought (what r u trying to say Ma???kidding - I know what she means!) $1000 per month less is heaps really, and we've managed - til now - just catching up a bit. Especially with two cars that need repairs and stuff ( maybe he should be doing a mechanic apprenticeship he he!). It will all be very worth it in the end. Til then it is as it is - and I'm making the best of it.
The first two years I was super organised with Xmas and stuff, putting things away from very early in the year.
I am pretty modest with my wants and needs - don't want much, only buy what I need!!!
I am happy to buy my clothes from the op-shop - I don't do it because I have to - I do it because I like to - you never know what you'll find! I get the occasional item from eBay too. I really don't like going into town much, so the op-shopping suits me and I love it!!!
I cut and colour my own hair - not because I have to because I have hairdresser phobia and haven't had many hair cuts I actually like. I have noticed the hair extensions protect my own hair a bit and I haven' had many split ends or anything so that's a bonus! The extensions take a bit of maintenance - imagine how much I'd be paying a salon for upkeep - no thanks - plus I'm not good with appointments either!! He he!
My auctions are going well, I haven't done many in the last few weeks, so that drags the old account down a bit too.
Thank goodness for my gorgeous boys that are happy to hang out at home, and do simple stuff, hang out together, play with the dog/sheep, cook something, make funny powerpoint presentations on the computer.........they haven't asked for a single thing, or to do a single thing all holidays....not saying they're perfect, their rooms are a mess! but they're not demanding and are grateful for everything.......
On that note - I'll be off - getting the candles ready....JOKING! It's not that bad!!!!
Still Up!
It's late - but all is well and quiet here....have the room to myself....bit of a rarity these days. We have two computers, but both are in the same room. The boys are usually doing their own thing anyway, but it's hard to think without silence!
So many different things going through my head tonight!
Have been back and forth checking my teams sales so far for the week (their orders go through early Tuesday morning) and looking in on my few eBay auctions that finish tomorrow night. Had every intention of listing some more today, just didn't quite get there - with the million loads of washing I had to do - and actually DID! Grotty old floor, accumulated junk on the bench/table that had to be sorted, all that exciting stuff - kept me busy!
Have been thinking about my family, and how grateful I am to have had such an excellent upbringing, and extremely happy & balanced childhood. No mean feat to achieve such balance and security considering I was adopted, very different in nature to the rest of the family, and quite the handful as a teenager. My brother and I were always treated equally (even though he was their 'natural' child) I have never once felt jealous towards him, or 'less' than him. He has always considered me to be his sister, genetics doesn't even come into it.
We weren't spoilt, but didn't go without. Mum and Dad just 'got it right' - I am pleased to say I would be lucky to find fault with them as parents, and if I did it would be pretty trivial stuff! :-)
We had a lovely but tiring day Friday, we went to Burnie for the day, Big A had to see an ear/nose/throat specialist (the wait was 3 months to see the one in Launny he saw last time). He has had ear problems his whole life, and had many lots of grommets - anyhoo cutting a long story short he won't need another lot of grommets, much to his relief as they did them with local anesthetic last time and it freaked him out.
From Burnie went drove to Lower Barrington, to visit our very dear friends Myra and Dave, and their boys who are the same age as our boys - we've been mates for 15 years and it's always a relaxed time to visit them - always has been actually!
They are the sort of friends that you don't have to worry about the kids saying/doing anything 'untoward' as their boys were also similar in nature to ours as they were growing up - their eldest was loud/very energetic/highly strung too - while their youngest was quiet/placid/happy off playing with cars or something just like Small Man.
We hadn't seen their new place yet, so it was an adventure to find it first of all! The rest of the day was great, had a cuddle of baby Grace, their new Granddaughter - awww! No, definitely not clucky AT ALL - I'm too old for that sort of thing now (sex!.... only kiddin!!!) - I'm happy to wait for my grandchildren now....a longish time would be good thanks!!!!
We trekked off at 8am - finally home at 6pm - I was totally stuffed - not the worlds best traveler - but happy to get out for the day, all of us together......
Saturday Z16 worked his first proper shift at hungry jacks - he was soooo nervous, and I could feel his nerves for about 45mins after I dropped him off - funny that, how you can tune into your children that way -
he said he was a bit of a wreck for the first half an hour or so, but then slowly became used to what he was doing -
he said it was very constant and harder physically than he first anticipated.
He had worked for three hours, and looked hot and worn out when I picked him up. Well, 15mins after getting home he was sound asleep, in his bed, and remained there for 4 hours!
I did post some time ago that I didn't think a fast food chain job would be for him - we'll see! He's not a quitter, and can persevere, so maybe after some perseverance he'll get used to what he's doing - you know what the first few days of a new job can be like. He didn't say he didn't like it though.......we'll see how it goes.
Have a bit to say tonight!
Fruit and veggie soup diet is going swimmingly well....as far as my participation in it goes!
Have only been tempted once, by some chicken sausages, I love them, they're magnificent grilled and served with tzatziki! - so as a compromise I allowed myself half a chicken sausage sliced finely in with my soup -
soup of the day is cabbage/mushroom/carrot/onion/garlic/crushed tomatoes/tomato paste/beef stock cube/lots of pepper - soup of yesterday/Friday was similar, but didn't have tomato or carrot, did have zucchini though.
Have had apples/oranges/grapes in between soup for lunch and tea - and a banana for breakfast.
Will continue with this for the rest of the week, won't hurt me!
Will add a small amount of chicken or beef to the soup in a day or two and have some natural yoghurt to add if it starts to get boring! Not going to have any nuts whatsoever, just in case I react to them.
Have also had a dose of flaxseed oil *bleearrghh* tastes rank but is meant to be very good.....it'd want to be!!!!!
Well then,
enough from me,
New Guide....
I have been practicing my meditation a lot more lately, and listening to some subliminal weight loss stuff - you never know!
Anyway, the other evening I met a new guide - interesting - Lillian - a tiny, wise woman with long white hair - her flowing white robe edged with gold. I met with her briefly, must go again soon. The previous time I met with Laurel, I can just remember her gold/light red hair......
I think my scales could be a bit out/stuffed - or I have an alien growing in my gut that is making me heavy! After two and a half days of fruit, vegie soup that I made from all the good stuff, and water, I apparently GAINED 1.5kg - goody! My belly has shrunken down a bit though.....must be a small heavy alien??? He he!
Thank you for your comments Toni and Sev - I just feel like a slimmer woman on the inside, like the outside of me doesn't reflect the inside.....if you know what I mean!
I haven't felt comfortable with my body size for the last few years and having a wardrobe full of clothes that don't fit is frustrating!!!
I'm not really in a position at the moment to re-do the 'drobe - and have some stuff I would love to be able to wear.
Also I'm that big in the bust at present any bra that fits/does it's job properly is usually ugly - or could double as a cap in an emergency, or a fishing net - tee hee!!
Everyone else I know shrank when they had children, I fed small man for nearly 18 months - nope still no shrinkage!!
In the photo I posted I was a 12 C - am now a 14-16DD/E.........*sigh* when I met the Big A he thought he was attracted to athletic, flat chested blondes - PAH!
I was modelling lingerie at the time - and definitely not blonde (except highlights from a bottle of course!)......
Uh....Oh!
Jumped on the scales this morning ........ 75kg ........NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!!!
I refuse to starve myself........
I don't eat a lot as it is.......
Maybe not enough......doesn't help the metabolism........
Steer clear of white bread, don't add butter to it if I do have it........
Grill everything.........
Try and eat little bits more often than a lot all at once.......
I drink light milk..........
Not quite enough exercise, but still walk approx an hour per week.....better than nothing!
I rarely drink (alcohol) maybe once or twice per YEAR to be sociable, also developed an intolerance to coffee about 18 months ago, can manage 1/4 of a teaspoon in with my milo......
I try and balance my protein and carbs.......
Here I am ready to go to the Cup - 2002 or 2003 I think it was I can't remember exactly.....*sigh*......this can be my motivation!!!!!
Ah well, off to the treadmill!!!!
YAWN!
Big A snapped this photo of George with his mobile phone camera!
Managed to achieve a bit this afternoon........
Am amazed at how quickly I'm wearing out at the moment.....
Don't want to go for a 'check up' - can't stand getting the same old lecture about how 'this is all you can expect with Lupus' and the only solution is to pump me full of drugs that make me fat fat fat (gained 16kgs with the last lot of steroids and haven't lost even a kilo since - in 4 years) - still have that steroidy look to me which I'm only just able to accept, some days I can't stand the sight of myself.
I went from 56 kilos which is a bit on the low side for my height 167cm - to 72 kilos - the weight sits around my middle/upper back/bust/top of arms.
Yes, it is better to feel good than look good, but the steroids are a mongrel to come off, you end up feeling worse than when you started taking them - but then last time I was on 50mg per day which is a fair bit.
Will see how I go ~ having read the latest energy alert it explains a lot.............
So took Z16 to open his bank account, then went to the op-shop for a quick squizz - he actually found a perfect pair of shoes in fab condition there for work - I did offer to buy new ones but he said they'd be fine....he amazes me with his lack of teenage boy-ish way of thinking! Although he did start to get a touch bored and so poked me in the ribs (gently!) a few times and said 'cattle prod' in other words, keep moving Mum!
He loves his Mum and isn't scared to tell me, doesn't treat me like dirt when his mates are around and doesn't protest too much if asked to do something........he's a blessing alright.
Small Man is sound asleep in my bed, he's been a bit grumpy today.
Funny that I still call him small, even though he's 176cm tall (9cm taller than me) ~ the doctor updated his eventual height estimate to be around 6 foot 6 inches - WHAT!!! We'll have to get the ceiling raised or something - he he! Good job the Big A has replaced our pendant/hanging down style light fitting with down lights!
Better go check the spaghetti sauce....
and pasta that Big A won't need for tea now as he's working back late.........
G
11.36am - still in dressing gown!!!
OOh dear, whatever will the neighbours think - he he he!!!
I made this comment last blog after the Big A 'wondered what the neighbour would think' - she'd locked herself out and came down the drive to ask if she could use my phone. I - on the other hand - couldn't give a rats.......just think if I hadn't been bumming round in my dressing gown, I may not have been home, and it's a loooong way to any phone box from here, especially with two toddlers in tow!!!!
My big boy survived his induction morning at hungry jacks - sounded kind of boring but necessary - watching dvd's for four hours......he starts Saturday afternoon...in the burger room!
So have been hairing about getting tax file numbers....well actually sent off almost all of his original i.d. to apply for it, then found that he needs a separate bank account for his pay to go into (he has a passbook account, but he can't access it until he's 18 - may want some of his earnings before then!).....so now I don't know how I'll go opening the bank account with the little i.d. he has.......catch 22!
He amazed me yesterday - he got himself out of bed at 7am, asked for a folder to put all of his paperwork in (there was lots of it) and then suggested a time that we leave so we were on time......for a young man that has struggled with organising himself/time management/short term memory this was pretty huge! Plus he's gorgeous too which helps him get away with heaps - he he! He has the most luxurious mop of hair, curly/wavy, a few ringlets here and there mostly around the temples. It's grown quite long (mostly cos I refused to cut it, but offered to take him to the hairdresser if he wanted it cut off, I can do trims well, but not re-style from that length). Big A keeps saying 'perhaps if you got your hair cut', 'and it's your hair that lets you down'....get with it my man! this is exactly how teenage boys have their hair, it's such lovely hair - why not!!! Not like it has that dunny brush look like some of the lads have at the moment!!!!
Small Man seems a little better - although he hasn't wanted to go anywhere for the last week, may be able to coax him out today, even if just to the video shop or something.
Gotta go and spread toast for hungry a 12 year old! aka Small Man!
The burgers are better.....
Back again....!
Slacko-o I am.....
What's happened this week.....what hasn't happened!
Small Man had good reason to feel yukky - a trip to the doc Wednesday evening revealed infections in both ears.....'a bug' the doc called it......tests results confirm he still has the Epstein barr virus in his system.....a slightly enlarged liver.....but DOESN'T have - high cholesterol, any sign of diabetes whatsoever (thank goodness)...but his liver function is still not 100%........
Z16 had a call from Hungry Jacks for an interview.......we went Wednesday at 4.15pm - he was soooo nervous...awww! Successfully managed to get a second interview Thursday, ..it only went for 5 mins - wasn't sure if this was good or not.....but then....received the call Friday night to say he got the job (I know....that word 'got' had an English teacher that wrote the word on a piece of paper, put it in a match box and buried it.....hmmm! still feel weird using it - he he!).
So anyway Z16 picks up his uniform Monday night, and starts Tuesday morning (we're on school holidays here). Very proud of him indeed........
Held a team meeting here Wednesday, the Almighty had to tag along of course. I made a powerpoint presentation on team management, mostly on retaining a 'happy' team. It went really well, clever clogs (aka the big A) converted the powerpoint presentation to a dvd for me.....smarty pants he is! The almighty was taking notes, probably wants to present them as her own...WHATEVER! Managed to get some straight answers out of her regarding several important issues, I never get written replies to questions, it's always by phone.....people that won't put things in writing, in my opinion aren't telling 100% truth....or leaving bits out....that's just my opinion!!!
My dear, only Aunty (Mum is an only child, Dad has only one sister) has been unwell for a few months with gallbladder issues etc - she called me yesterday to say an MRI last week found cancer in her pancreas......I feel sad, but actually hopeful and calm about it, which is usually a good feeling for me to have as far as outcomes goes. So fingers crossed for Aunty Julie.
The last few weeks finally caught up to me, I've done little else but sleep the last few days. I won't beat myself up over it, I have learnt it is the only way to ward off a possible Lupus flare....my skin broke out in the rash I get as a huge warning and I'm adhering to the warning, don't really care what the neighbors think if I'm in my dressing gown at midday.....what are they going to do? I suppose they could ring up today tonight as it's a pretty interesting story!! He he!
Better go then, and practice some of the stuff I've learnt watching "perfect housewife' and 'how clean is your house' - those shows make me feel soooo much better!
