Taking antibiotics could make you very ill?
No - I didn't either.
I went Tuesday to the doc to sort out my sinus infection, I knew I had it I was just putting it off.
That was o.k. he gave me penicillin 1000mg.
And some nose cream stuff for a 'raw' patch in my nose.
I took the first one and went to sleep on the couch.
I took the second one and oh my goodness.
An hour later I was frozen to the bone, shivering, and had extreme backache - so bad I couldn't get comfortable sitting down, standing up or lying down.
This went on all night.
The pain was excruciating.
This morning I rang the doctors surgery - my doc wasn't there and they were majorly short staffed. I'm not that keen on seeing a strange doctor.
I suggested I wait til tomorrow cos I couldn't see myself driving.
So I have an appointment at 9am tomorrow.
Back pain on and off all day and the chills down my back - I have just slept on and off all day.
Until tonight when my temperature shot up to 39.2 degrees.
Mum wanted to take me to emergency but I really didn't want to go.
I had a shower and took some nurofen - got the temp down to 38 which is much better.
Don't think I'll be taking them again somehow....

That's not good, Gina. I'm glad you have an appointment. It needs sorting.
