Funny, funny people!
This photo drew some interesting responses
We were having a joke about:
A: people putting up photos saying things like "Oh nothing a bit of botox won't fix" looking for compliments
B: people putting selfies up with complete disregard for the background
My mirror happened to be unpolished that day.
Seriously?
Worrying about polishing mirrors is about last on my list of priorities!
If people REALLY want to judge me on how much housework I am getting done
Then they clearly don't understand what I have been through
And if they don't understand it's because they haven't been here recently, or haven't asked how I am going
So they can piss off!!
My mum is the only person that has actually helped me with anything.
Easy for everyone else to sit back and criticise.
Rant over.
I am officially back to work after getting a few weeks break.
Feeling a lot more optimistic about the year ahead.
Yesterday was my 16th anniversary with the company.
I guess the delivery truck with my flowers and stuff got lost again.
Never mind.
My big boy is making great strides at work.
He has made a start on management training.
He has been given extra responsibility and he is enjoying it.
He will be off to Melbourne for a week in March for official training.
Exciting times :)
He was looking at taking advantage of the first home builders grant, which is currently $30,000!
But he won't be quite ready.
His income is not steady enough, despite having saved an incredible amount for a 22 year old working part time/casual (more than enough for a deposit).
He has to prove he can afford the repayments.
If it was extended for another 12 months it would be great.
I think the cut off is July though.
Building a house just isn't something to rush into!
Renting would be a complete waste of money when he can stay at home and save a bit longer.
I am stoked to see him so happy :)
Small Man is also looking to the future.
Driving as much as he can (has his learners licence).
Looking at joining a gym.
And still wants to do the security course, maybe at the end of the year though.
He is afraid of committing to something that he can't follow through on.
I understand that feeling completely.
Over committing is not a good idea.
He didn't feel like the treatment was doing much.
So he stopped taking it for a few days.
OH MY GOD!
The fall was spectacular.
He was a mess.
I think it scared him.
It wasn't nice to watch.
Both boys are off to Melbourne for a few days at the end of February, with two mates.
They are going to a music festival.
They are going to have a ball!
I will be home alone.
With cats, dog, bird and chooks for company!
Big A will be off camping.
It's going to feel weird!
I have had two of the worst days fatigue wise this week,
but happy to report that yesterday and today (so far) have been pretty good.
Don't take for granted the ability to think clearly.
Or just be on your feet for longer than 15 minutes at a time.
When you can't do it - it can drive you crazy.

If SM wants some advice about security he could talk to M, he ran his own company in Melbourne and did international work as well as local work. It is a thankless job though at times! Good to see Z is moving along with his work :)
Thank you :)
There is a course he can do but it's not a 'RTO' at present. I think any results have to be formally recognised by a place in Hobart or something.
We looked into it all last year, but then starting the abx we had no idea what to expect, so put it on hold.
Definitely nice to see Z so happy and confident FINALLY!
:) xx
