I have been looking into hair extensions....my hair is really fine/thin - it thins out at the crown - and I was 'blessed' with two crowns so it's doubled! I have "hairdresserphobia" there wouldn't be many times in my life I've left the hairdressers actually happy - they always seem to cut how THEY want it - or I'm unfortunate enough to get the one that's just split up with her boyfriend or having some sort of crisis - and takes it out on my hair - I'm not very confrontational and will just leave without saying anything so it's equally my fault!
I'm not knocking hairdressers, please don't get me wrong I think they're amazing (no way I could be that patient with people all day! he he!) I just prefer to do my own trims and colours/foils etc, the one time I was happy with my hair it turned out exactly how I do it anyway - and cost $80!
Just wondering if anyone reading has had extensions, and whether the ring type ones or the glue type ones are better? I think the clip in ones are a bit pointless, the wind would blow and you'd see the clips I reckon!
It was interesting that the idea of these 'came' to me - I asked the Universe for thicker hair - and it's answer was for me to stumble upon an auction for DIY human hair extensions......so maybe what you ask for doesn't actually come as you think it might.......

aist length black ones, and I took them out after three weeks and several milion dollars wasted. They just looked fake and made my head itch, But don't let me sway you, no honestly, this was about 12 years ago, I am sure they have improved.
Hmmm... I have found some 'easy' micro ring ones, as I don't want them to increase the length and just add some volume I can get them fairly inexpensively, and don't need too many - if they are a hassle I can take them out easily, there's no glue etc so might give them a go! G xx
I haven't had them, but I have a friend who has and they looked great. She did pay an arm and a leg for them though! She got a whole head of hair though... Toni xx

O.K. - I'm going to do it! You've convinced me - gee what's the worst that could happen, I might have to take them out....I'm hopeless at spending money on myself....I'm not all about self sacrifice or anything, I'm just a practical Capricorn!
