On A Lighter Note...Introducing George...

Introducing George, my gorgeous boy! He is a Seal Point Birman - with possibly the nicest temperament I have ever come across in a 'cat' (he doesn't really think he is a cat - a lion he feels is more accurate). He lets the boys drag him around the house in cardboard boxes, or on a blanket (magic carpet ride Georgie) without so much as a turned whisker. He seeks out their company and will sit and stare at the bedroom door (as if willing it to open) if they happen to go into the bedroom and shut the door. He isn't one for scratching or biting, and will sit and stare at you if he wants something, or walks under your feet until he gets it.

My Mum had a siamese (I think that's what they are called) and he is feral!! He has the worst temperment you could get in a cat. He really is nothing like your lovely George. His name is Merlin and nothing like the fabled wizard! xx

We also have a half tabby/half birman - looks nothing like George - and is all cat in his temperament - goes birko at the sight of our dog - scratches and bites if you pat him in the 'wrong' spot....It's nothing to find George in the middle of my youngest sons bed, with a few boys around him playing the x-box. I'm not sure if all birmans have a similar nature....although I must admit he's a ferocious hunter, I've had dead and live birds dragged in, a bilby, rats, mice, lizards....anything he can drag through the cat door really! G xx
