LOL, The drudgery of taking down the decorations is one of the reasons I didn't put any up this year. Why is it that taking them down creates such a feeling of perdition.
I'd leave the tree up and hang chocolate hearts on it on Feb 14, and throw a party. Then at Easter it would be chocolate bunnies and, throw a party. Then at Thanksgiving .........I wonder what chocolate covered turkey tastes like? And I'd still throw a party.
Natalie ~ See I feel better now, I felt sure it was me, and me alone! I had considered leaving it up....hard to disguise though!
Eric S. ~ Hmm...I didn't put everything up this year either just the tree and a few bits - no-one seemed to notice! I think it's cos it's 'all over for another year' maybe, but taking it all down is no-where near as fun as putting it up!
Warriorwitch - ha ha! I did consider that - actually chucking a garbage bag over it still fully decorated was more the idea...cos you know I might do Xmas in July again this year!

Jibber Jabber ~ Phew...! Thought it was just me being hopeless as usual - it's much more boring putting the thing away...then the mess...bah!

Darling G., Hub. and I decided to set a new world record and leave ours up 'till next year.
Might just vacuum it each week for dust. :D

It's funny how little time it takes when we really put off procrastinating!
The lights look like crayons. Cool.
Love that photo too G. :D
Mine went up early and came down early this year.
