Small Mans closest friend Michael is in hospital....

He has been getting migraines for months, then today he sent a msg to SM that he's in hospital 'something to do with his eyes'.

SM called him and he was crying...in pain....

I may have written of him here before.

He is actually Possums age - he turned 19 on Monday, was in Possums grade at school (thats how they met) - but he and SM hit it off immediately and have been firm friends for the last few years - the three get on well but there's such a strong bond between SM and Michael.....

He is often here, and I introduce him as 'my other boy'....and when I strip the spare bed in SM's room it's 'Michaels bed'

He comes and stays with SM at least once every fortnight, sometimes twice in a week, it depends.
This has been great for SM, a break from entertaining for Possum, or often Possum is at work.

I have noticed the amount of paracetamol/ibuprofen he has been taking has increased recently.....to include codeine.
You can see that he is in pain, a few times he has curled up on the couch nearly asleep.....

We are just waiting for some news.....it's been a few hours now.....

Possum is doing a great job of distracting SM at the moment......

I hope they finally find the problem and help him, clearly whatever it is has gotten much, much worse..........
