The trap I bought from the hardware shop hasn't yielded any results......yet.
So my table is still covered with plastic ware.
And I haven't been into any of the cupboards under the kitchen sink.........

The other pest issue I am having has no resolved itself either.
She has also emailed another of my dear friends, Rose, after adding Rose to her friends list on fb.
I haven't seen Rose in a few years either - we talked for an hour and a half on the phone last night.
The pest asked Rose if she had seen me lately, and that we 'had a falling out a few years ago, and to this day she still doesn't know why, G just stopped returning my calls'
Yeah.....right.
I explained to Rose what happened and why, and she correctly pointed out 'We are too old for this crap -it's like high school'.
Exactly.
She didn't know about Small Man and his troubles.
Or me and mine.
She said it's no wonder I don't have time for trivial bullshit and false friends.
Exactly.
The good that has come out of this is that we will be catching up very soon.
Everything happens for a reason, and if it brings me back close to friends I love then good.
Rose is the friend I mentioned a little while ago, that I found on facebook.
I spent quite a bit of time with her family when I was younger (16 - 17).
We have so many memories of that time, we could talk for hours and hours :)
As for the other person I'm not taking the bait (a bit like Mr Mouse!).
Clearly she wants me to contact her and I'm not - she knows full well what she did, and if her conscience is so clear why didn't she front up here and ask why I stopped returning her calls?
That's what I would do.
Ha ha! I was thinking, the pest would look at my friends list on facebook and think WHAT?!
Who are these people - ha ha ha!

Big A asked me all the questions this morning, like have I got a link to my blog on facebook (don't be silly!).
The only way she could find this is if she is clever, and a friend on my list has a public profile that anyone can see, with a link to THEIR blog on facebook, and she finds me through their blog.
I don't think she's that clever actually.
I think most of you have me in your sidebar as 'Myst' or something anyway.
I'm not paranoid about it in the slightest, but I would prefer she didn't have any further info about me or my boys to use as gossip.
I was more concerned when the Almighty was on my case, and most of the posts referring to her I have saved to draft - her 'boyfriend' (lucky chap) works in I.T. - so may have a way of finding things.
So anyway, I'm off to check the mouse trap - and go with Lou's plan 'C' if it doesn't work today - a grenade!!!

Completely ignoring her is the best thing possible - she wants your attention and ANY form of attention from you (even bad, angry attention) would massage her ego.

Jayne ~ Thank you. I wondered if I shouldn't conatct her and ask her to stop it but you are right, that would just feed the situation.
I don't feel like I owe her any sort of explanation - she knows why....

I don't have a blog link on facebook, yay.
You may just have to kill the mouse G. Use peanut butter or a lolly snake, they love those, and you don't usually get blood and guts. Just a dead mouse. Yukko.

I know. I can't have mouse crap all through the cupboards - disgusting bacteria. The trap I have is a 'no see, no touch' trap especially designed for people that freak out, so perfect! It just hasn't taken the bait yet - I may need to change the bait. Or maybe he is just full on the Marie biscuits he ate yesterday!

I don't have my blog info on FB either. If I were in your shoes, I might send private messages to your true friends about this person's "problems" and let them know you would appreciate being left out of any conversations they have with her. Been there, myself....
Evil Twins Wife ~ I have done just that this morning, we are now up to three of them that she has contacted asking questions. The last one she just asked how I was.....does she not see how odd that looks? She is trying to get them to respond with "Oh don't you see G any more" etc etc...so she can launch into a huge sook about how she didn't do anything wrong, and she just doesn't understand it.....blah blah.
God, I'm getting a headache!!!!!
