I got him.
He was in the trap this afternoon.
Phew!
Now I have the lovely job of pulling the rest of the stuff out of the cupboard, washing/disinfecting and putting it all back.
Minus about 1/3 of it.
Seriously, I have far too much stuff.
I got half way through it and had to go and sleep for a few hours.
Z17 woke up with the flu this morning, he has even taken the night off work tonight......and I think I'm getting it too.....great.

P.S. This is a bonus time for the heat pump to be fully installed and in action after a week or two of getting it put in and young guys banging and crashing in the roof, and cutting holes in the ceiling, and one cutting his hand fairly badly in the process (poor kid), and insulation all through the house.....and so on.....but hey, no sticks to cut, wood to bring in or fire to light/keep alight as of yesterday afternoon :)

Yay, death to the rodents!
Lucky you, the more we catch, the more there are.
I can hear them at night in the walls.
YUCK YUCK YUCK !!!!!
P.S.
I have set up another trap....just in case!

Good job catching the critter. But tell me - no wood to bring in? No sticks? Do you have to go out and shoot your lunch? Pick berries and stuff? Where the heck do you live?
Lou ~ We had a woodheater so had to drag wood in, chop sticks (kindling) etc. Excellent heat but messy and time consuming.
I try not to shoot too many things, just in case my aim is off one day :) ha ha!

The flu? I am so sorry; I hope you are mistaken (you wouldn't object to it being merely a cold, I daresay).
I am glad your heat pump is in. At least, if you do have the flu, you can both suffer in peace.
Snowbrush ~ Thank you :) It didn't eventuate to much, a 48 hour thing in the end....
I'm really enjoying the heat pump!
