Well....nothing has changed since Wednesday.
This week has been FERAL!
On top of all the other stuff my order delivery this week was 24 hours late.....this causes havoc within the ranks - my people have customers waiting for their goods - sometimes 25 customers or more that need to be phoned or receive their delivery late (most HAVE to deliver theirs on a Thursday - which is pension/payday - or the customers won't have the money).
This puts a lot of pressure on all of us.
Message after message, call after call seeing if the order had arrived yet......so many, many text messages later.....
They were great about it though I must say.
Big A helped me pack and we had it ready by 3.45pm yesterday - and it was HOT right at that time of course.....
It had all been collected by 4.30pm!
We received an email yesterday to let us know one of our ladies in Victoria lost everything in the bushfires.
There were instructions for us to make a donation if we wanted to.
I thought we could do a bit better than that.
So I have received permission to host a morning/afternoon tea to raise money.
I'm planning on charging a $5 donation per person to attend (all donations will be given directly to our lady) - I have some great prizes organised which will be given away on the day (a ticket system, get a ticket for turning up, a ticket for bringing a plate, a ticket for making another donation etc).
I have told my managers I am happy to put on morning/afternoon tea if they will extend invitations to their teams.
Every little bit helps.
Last night the four of us went out for tea.
Just us!
All of us....together.
A rare thing!
We had a nice counter meal, a good laugh - it was great after a stressful day.
I have done nothing as far as tests or meds (besides picking up the prescriptions from the chemist).
I hope to get there today for the blood tests and the rest I'm thinking about for now.....I dunno....it may sound silly, but honestly the possible side effects seem to conflict - A LOT!
He did mention that (the Professor) and was unsure about giving them to me in the first place. He then decided I could try them....and stop them if they weren't any good.
One of them says definitely DO NOT stop taking suddenly.....this is what I mean...
