This photo is already in my facebook album, but it makes me smile so I'm blogging it too!
This is Small Man at physio - in the hubbard tank - a pressurised/heated tank for minimal impact exercise....we go twice a week once in the tank, once in the gym...for now!

Thank you G for your comments on my BUM and I have changed the music today. I have read your last post can you explain to me the tank for you son ? please excuse my ignorance but why is he in the tank ? Adam xo.
Hi Adam,
You're welcome!
Music is amazing in it's power to change your mood eh!
My son caught glandular fever two years ago, which has led to liver problems/weight gain/chronic fatigue. He has barely been to school in 18 months.
His weight gain is making the other problems worse, we have tried everything but the fatigue makes it next to impossible for him to exercise for longer than 20 mins two or three times per week (which is what we are doing at physio).
We have an appointment for him to see a surgeon in Hobart on the 19th of Feb for lap band surgery.
This is a last resort action, but the only option available to us - he needs to get his life back and be a normal 13 year old!
The physio dept have been terrific, they usually only see people for a 6 week term, but are making an exception for Small Man because of the unusual circumstances, and lack of options available to us.
